A jealous thing the goddess of love was, but so was Odin when it came down too it. That was why Loki was married off, to keep him close but away from Freya or those others he may care about. Heimdallr would always be loyal Odin knew this so it mattered not to him to take Sigyn from him and marry her off to his blood brother, it got his daughter a husband and his brother a wife to bind him to Asgard. And yes at least he respected her in that regard.

She better be damned careful to make sure Loki never figures it out then. Afterall he would not take magic being used on him so kindly. At least with magnolia leaves he would think that Sigyn was use superstitious that would not effect his ability to preform with it under the bed so that would keep his wife from his wrath as well if he found it.

They had been friends since Thor was a child, Loki had still been young back then still a new friend to the Allfather not quite fully grown but old enough to leave his parents care and travel with the ruler of the Asgardians. It was a miracle he had not ever fully lost his patience with Thor yet but they had had huge fights in the past as sad as it was Thor was more a brother to Loki then his own brothers were, He had spent more time around Sigyn's family then his own.

It was awhile longer before he came into the bedroom the bag was discarded but the contents in his semi-wet arms two beautiful gowns and two pretty necklaces. He likely stole them or was given them as tribute but regardless he brought them to her.
