Well we all know Freya was a type to be jealous and Odin having married Loki off to her daughter likely hit her hard. Knowing Loki at least had enough honor in him to not touch her once the vows were made. Likely part of Odin's plan to keep Freya to himself by pushing the trickster out of the way. Loki had noticed none of the handmaidens looked his way and oddly didn't seem to make moves at them after the first few weeks of the couple living together in their home. They were Sigyn's women and he was kind enough to not bring his lovers home, never into the home he shared with Sigyn.
She was a good servent, she had better pray Loki never finds out she was the one doing it. His wife he would forgive she was a daughter of Odin but the handmaiden he would run her through with a blade if he knew she had been tainting his food and drink to make him loyal to his wife. And at least on this trip no tales of lovers would follow him home.
"He nearly got us eatten by a very angry giant and then told me it was my fault for not stopping him. He threw Mjölnir at the beasts wife thinking it the husband and needless to say it was a very bloody battle that nearly got us both killed. And we didn't go after the giants! Thor just wanted 'a bit of sport'" he rolled his eyes some taking another drink "You have a good point." He kissed the palm of her hand after he spoke. "Could you have them draw me a bath then and I shall be right up, I have brought you something home from our voyage. I know its not in my normal behavior but after our fight before I left seeing this I had to bring it to you." He handed her his mead to take with her and moved over towards the bag at the fire place. "I will meet you upstairs."
